Why buy Opals from Taranto Opal?
Taranto Opal is committed to providing goods of superior craftsmanship and quality.
Our jewellery products are guaranteed to be free of original manufacturing defects and our Opals are carefully examined for defects prior to release.
If a manufacturing defect is found upon inspection by our jeweller we will have the item repaired or replaced at our discretion, free of charge provided it is returned with your receipt within 30 days of purchase.   If the item cannot be repaired and due to unavailability, a replacement product cannot be provided, a full credit will be made.  If the item has been resized or altered in any way by someone other than Taranto Opal, after purchase, this guarantee will no longer apply.

If you need to make a warranty claim please contact us as soon as possible and we will evaluate your request.
We understand that there is only so much you can learn about an Opal or jewellery item from looking at it on a computer screen and that when received it may not be the same as expected.

Therefore you can return any purchase within 30 days for a full refund, no questions asked (excluding shipping and insurance costs).
We only require that the product be returned in original condition and packaged carefully.

As an added bonus, we are happy to provide free airmail shipping if you spend more than AUD $300.00 on opals per order. This does not include insurance. Please email us if further information is required.

Opals for International residents
We provide several international shipping methods; all rates apply worldwide (with the exception of Australia, of course).

Timeframes for Supply

For destinations within Australia, delivery is usually overnight, however regional areas can take 1 or 2 days longer.

For overseas destinations delivery usually takes 7-14 business days for delivery.
For purchases over $300 we recommend FedEx International Priority (2-3 business days). 
Fedex will provide us with a tracking number for your goods after they have been dispatched and we will forward this to you.
All items are usually shipped within 2 business days of ordering. In the unlikely event that this is not possible to ship the goods within a timely manner, we will email you to advise you of the likely delay. Shipping times do vary - particularly during holiday seasons - and are purely dependent on the postal/shipping services involved.

 Overseas Tax and Duty

The Free Trade Agreement between the USA and Australia means that there are no taxes or duty for goods (jewellery) imported/delivered to the USA from Australia. Deliveries to other countries may incur local taxes or duty.
Please check with your local customs office or equivalent for details.

Charges or taxes levied by the country of destination are not part of the payment for goods (jewellery) supplied by Taranto Opal.
